Stories On Tour

The dynamic, touring master storytelling duo of Queen Nur and Kala JoJo make tales come alive with the accompaniment of authentic African instruments. Kala JoJo, an African-American Djali is a recorded folklorist/musician who has been noted as a national favorite and a Philadelphia treasure. As an African oral traditionalist, he enhances performances on Kora, Mbira, Udu, Djembe and a host of other instruments.
