right afterward, but I’ve never heard the inspiration last until
after the weekend.”

wonderful job of exemplifying both the entertainment and teaching functions

your ability to elicit the enthusiastic response of even our most challenging

Thank you so much
for your spectacular performance... It was so heartwarming to look around
the room at all the smiles and to see our staff cheering one another
on! You created incredible energy in the room giving us all a holiday
party to remember.
You also reminded us of an important lesson. The entire staff needs
the benefits of the arts to remind us why we are here and motivate our
work. ..We were all so proud to know that through our work, we are exposing
children and whole communities to an artist of your caliber. You are
truly an inspiration! David
Miller, Acting Executive Director, New Jersey State Council of The Arts.
We hosted Sweet
Potato Pie with Queen Nur and Kala Jojo for a week. Music Educators,
elementary students, parents and fellow artists walked away from the
performances feeling energized, inspired and respectfully aware of the
power each of us holds within - they also walked away singing. Their
relationship with the audience was magical - each performance ending
with
more people on stage than in their seats. It was a week that illustrated
the joy of being involved with Arts Education.
